In short: you can play without telling us who you are. We keep game statistics to make the game better, linked only to a random id. If you sign in, your game record is kept on a public blockchain. We do not sell data or use tracking cookies.
Turnfolk is a strategy game at turnfolk.com, made by Supersize. This page explains what the game collects and why. Questions or requests: support@supersize.gg.
Playing as a guest
Your browser makes a random id for itself. Matches you play send statistics to our server under that id: the kind of match and its settings, how far you got and how it ended, lessons of the tutorial you finished, your browser's language, which version of the game you played and, if the game is shown inside another site, that site's address. They contain no name or email address: they are linked to that random id, not to you. Our server receives your IP address when it handles a request but does not keep it. We use this data only to see how the game is played and to improve it. The detailed events are deleted after 90 days, a summary of each match is kept.
Signing in with Google
When you choose "Continue with Google", Google confirms who you are to our server. We use only Google's id for your account to work out your game account, the same one on every device. We do not store your Google id, name, email address or picture, and we do not get access to anything else in your Google account. You can remove Turnfolk's access at any time in your Google account settings.
Signing in with a Solana wallet
Your wallet's public address identifies your profile. The game never asks for your private key. Your wallet only signs messages and, if you choose, payments.
Your game record
If you sign in, your profile (matches played, wins, score, crowns, items and avatar) is kept on MagicBlock's network for the Solana blockchain. Like all blockchain data, it can be read by anyone, together with your account's address, and our server keeps a copy for the rankings. If you choose a display name, we keep it and show it on the rankings and to the players you meet. Purchases of crowns are ordinary Solana payments, which are public.
On your device
The game keeps your saved matches, settings and its own keys in your browser's storage, so you can carry on where you left off. They stay on your device. We use no advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party analytics.
Who else is involved
- Google, when you sign in with Google.
- Vercel, which hosts the website, and the provider hosting our server.
- MagicBlock and Solana, which run the blockchain the game plays on.
Hosting providers and our server keep standard access logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. We share data with nobody else and never sell it.
Your choices
- Play as a guest: nothing identifies you.
- Clear your browser's storage to remove what the game keeps on your device.
- Email us to see or delete the statistics kept for your guest id, or to remove your display name.
- Records on the blockchain cannot be erased by us or anyone else. You can stop using an account at any time.
Children
Turnfolk is not made for children under 13. If you are under 13, or under the age your country sets for using online services, please do not sign in.
